Lisa Woolley

Lisa Woolley trained in all styles of theatrical dance and completed all her Cecchetti ballet examinations up to and including Advanced and Associate. She trained in contemporary dance at the Centre for the Performing Arts in Adelaide. After graduating, she danced with the Dance Company of NSW, Kinetic Energy and Ensemble Dance Theatre prior to further study and professional engagement with Berkeley Ballet Theatre in San Francisco.

Upon her return to Australia, Lisa completed a Bachelor of Education with majors in Dance and Drama and worked as a freelance commercial dancer and choreographer.

She developed and implemented the dance program at Sandringham College. She has been the VET Dance Chief Assessor and has been involved in the re writing of the new Certificate Two and Four courses in Dance.

Lisa has lectured in Dance at Federation University which was previously known as Ballarat University, and currently teaches dance, drama and theatre studies in various studio and educational settings and acts as a dance curriculum consultant.
